ASSISTED LIVING ELIGIBILITY:
The Assisted Living industry is increasingly coming under regulatory inspection by the state board of health. As a result, there are now some requirements that must be met by the administration, and by the residents. Prior to admission or readmission, each resident must have an assessment done by our social worker and our registered nurse, to assure that they qualify for admission and are able to perform independently enough to succeed in the Assisted Living home. In addition, each resident must be capable of evacuating independently from their apartment to the outside within five minutes in case of fire. Information for emergency contact and medication lists need to be kept with our workers in the assisted living office. This means when changes are made the office needs to be notified. We ask your assistance as we work to optimize our environment for the care of each individual.
