Many people approaching their later years find they need help in their daily routine.
Some older persons may need assistance with meals, housekeeping, linens, transportation, or other activities. The assistance they need may not be the same as those provided by a round-the-clock/skilled nursing home, yet their needs cannot be met living alone.
In this day and age, Assisted Living is an increasingly popular choice for the elderly. In many instances, it offers the right blend of services at a reasonable cost. Dining Rooms and Activity Areas contribute to the resident’s pleasure, while enjoying a beautiful and supportive environment.
Assisted Living offers you the opportunity to continue living as independently as possible, for as long as possible. If the need for nursing home placement arises, Residents of Assisted Living and Independent Living will be placed at the top of the waiting list for the Barthell O.E.S. Nursing Home if they so desire. (Eastern Star Members & Masons in good standing do have priority).
The Arlin Falck Assisted Living wing of the Barthell O.E.S. Home was completed in the spring of 2000 following a large bequest from Arlin Falck. The Gary Gavle Assisted Living wing was completed in spring of 2003.
The building is three stories with garages, activity area, main entrance and office on the ground floor,
and 33 apartments, laundry facilities, and common areas on the first
and second floors.
We are open to everyone regardless of race, creed, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, marital status, disabilities, and any other characteristic protected by law.
